Hello Lovely Ladies.
It is FREEEEEEZING cold once again in London, ON. By freezing I mean frostbite/I-can’t-feel-neither-my-nose-nor-my-extremities -30 degrees Celsius. Brrrrr.
In the cozy warm ChitChat Nails nook however, great things are happening… as I have some exciting news to share, and that is that you will be seeing more essie looks in the upcoming weeks (I will have the distinct pleasure to review upcoming essie collections for you). Blogging is a hobby for me primarily, its main benefit is being able to chit-chat with all of you Lovely Ladies… a side bonus however, is being able to swatch up-and-coming collections from a variety of brands (I am thrilled to essie-up this blog a little!- this has been a silent dream of mine for a few years now).
The chilly weather definitely inspired this grey/silver outdoorsy skittlette.
The dark grey is OPI Dark Side of the Mood. The accent nail is essie Ignite the Night. This is a two coater fine metallic glitter polish. The glitters are light, medium and dark silver. There is no holo sparkle here and I like it better this way. The overall feel is a soft charcoal metallic shimmer (low coarseness- this is not a texture polish). My dear friend Karen from NailCall speaks very highly of this polish and I have to admit, this is a BEAUTY!
I stamped the pattern with essie No Place Like Chrome– a great polish for stamping and a lovely silver with some added shimmer (think OPI My Signature is DC).
The Stamp is from UberChic Beauty plate 2-02.
I don’t know what style this particular stamp is (any help is welcome here)… is it tribal? Antique-ish? Outdoorsy?… all I know is that it has an uber-trendy vibe on the nail (AND it really elongates the nail, don’t you think?)
